Optus Stadium could host the biggest crowd the Southern Hemisphere has seen since COVID-19, with up to 55,000 footy fans expected for tomorrow night’s clash between West Coast and Collingwood.
But Premier Mark McGowan’s decision to lift COVID capacity restrictions has left Optus scrambling to find workers to meet the needs of a crowd that big, and stadium CEO Mike McKenna told The West Live he needed to fill hundreds of job vacancies ASAP.
